    Damtuh is a popular brand under the motto of ‘A cup of tea that fills your day.’ With the philosophy of providing a cup of delicious and healthy tea made of natural ingredients, the company has been constantly developing products for over 30 years. This favored brand distributes high quality products at reasonable prices to the stores nationwide, and provides convenient daily products related to tea including tea bags and liquid tea.

    담터는 ‘일상을 채우는 차 한잔의 여유’를 모토로 대중적인 인기를 얻고 있는 브랜드입니다. 자연에서 얻은 영양으로 채운 맛있고 건강한 차 한잔을 제공하는 것을 기업의 이념 삼아 끊임없는 제품 개발을 해왔습니다. 전국 유통 매장에 입점하여 좋은 품질과 합리적인 가격으로 제품을 선보이고 있으며 일상 생활에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 티백, 액상차 등 차와 관련한 간편 제품을 제공하는 친근한 기업으로 소비자들의 꾸준한 선호가 있는 브랜드입니다.

  • THE OBJECTIVE

    목적

    We designed the package for Damtuh herb tea gift set, which contains the value of ‘Enrich daily life with a cup of tea,’ and is in line with the changing market trend. Brand concept and image was developed to satisfy the tastes of the new target, millennials, as well as the existing target, young adults and middle-aged people, and to appeal for a gift set for special events.

    젊은 감각을 더한 담터의 허브티 선물세트를 디자인하고자 했습니다. 담터의 패키지는 원료 그대로의 이미지를 사용하거나 홍보 모델를 강조한 디자인으로 새로운 타겟층에는 적합하지 않았습니다. 기존 담터의 소비자 뿐 아니라 새로운 타겟층인 MZ세대에게도 매력적으로 보일 수 있는 이미지를 구축하기 위해 밝고 감성적인 일러스트가 돋보이는 선물세트 디자인을 제안했습니다.

  • THE SOLUTION

    해결방안

    YNL Design proposed a package design system by creating differentiated concepts and brand stories that Damtuh wants to deliver and developing sensuous color systems and unique hand drawing illustrations. With the concept of ‘Picnic in the Tea Land,’ natural visual graphic was designed which goes well with a kind of tea. The land where the tea grows is reflected in the artwork by embodying natural land, air, plants, and animals. The free and natural texture of hand drawing and vivid colors representing healing of nature are also used to express the meaning of enjoying a relaxing moment in nature along with the tea of Damtuh.

    담터가 엄선한 4종의 차(마테, 국화, 자스민, 보이차)의 원재료를 감성적인 일러스트로 표현하여 디자인했습니다. 기분 좋은 차 한잔의 무드를 자연의 식물, 동물 등으로 시각화하고 부드럽고 밝은 컬러를 사용하여 매력적이면서도 친근한 브랜드 이미지를 전달합니다. 명절 등 특별한 이벤트를 위한 선물 세트이기 때문에 소비자로 하여금 기분 좋은 특별함을 느낄 수 있도록 독창적인 일러스트를 개발하여 패키지에 적용했습니다.
